Why are INFJs so mysterious?
05/10/2025

INFJs use their eyes, ears and mouth extremely selectively. They will usually only speak, or only hear or only observe at one time. And while they are only hearing, only speaking or only observing, they connect their heart, mind, brain and soul on full load.
And that's why having them listen to you, or talk to you or look at you while you are in a complicated situation can feel like a strangely different experience.
Other than that:
- They know secrets but they don't tell
- They know the truth but won't tell.
- They know lies but won't tell.
- They know answers but won't give.
- They have problems they won't share.
- They may need help but they don't ask.
- They read people like a book but they don't tell.
- They have a past but they won't tell.
- They have wounds, tears and scars they never show.
- They have thoughts they don't tell.
- They have a rich vibrant inner life but they don't tell, can't tell and will never share.
- They have secret loves, joys and fears they don't tell.
- They seem wise but will suddenly do something stupid. When you think they are stupid they suddenly appear wise.
- They are busy doing 'nothing' and work harder than the hardest working person you know of.
- They will bring out the best in you but won't let you come any where close to them
- You can't figure out if you can or can't figure them out. They will prove you wrong every time you think you know them, you don't know them, you love them, you hate them, they love you, they hate you, they care for you, they don't care for you.
- You may know of many moulds — they fit in none of them.
- They are too full of paradoxes for anyone to understand them. They are intelligent and naive, intellectual and dumb, complicated and simple, difficult and easy, confident and unsure, lazy and energetic, timid and intimidating, optimistic and pessimistic, rebel and submissive, dreamy and realist, connected and disconnected, warm and cold, friendly and friendless, close and distant, ambitious and aimless, wanting everything and wanting nothing, knowing everything and not knowing anything, all at once.
- They are bound by laws only they know, and they regard themselves outside laws you think that bind everyone.
- It's funny to see them struggle and fumble for words when you ask them to tell something about themselves or just to introduce themselves. What you will hear will be 100% truth, but only 10% of the whole truth.
Is it then any wonder that they are so mysterious?
